We may obtain supplemental information about individuals, including donors and prospective donors, from trusted third-party data appending or data enrichment service providers. These third-party partners may provide us with additional information such as donation history, philanthropic interests, likelihood to donate, charitable causes previously supported, and other publicly or commercially available donation-related data. We use this appended information to better understand our donor base, improve fundraising strategies, and communicate more effectively with individuals who support or may be interested in supporting our organization. Where required by applicable law, we will provide notice and an opportunity to opt out of the use of such data enrichment services. We require these third-party providers to use Personal Information only as necessary to provide their services to us and to protect such data consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.


How do we receive information about you?

We receive your Personal Information from various sources:

California’s Shine the Light Law

In addition to the rights described above, California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section §1798.83) permits California residents that have an established business relationship with us to request certain information regarding our disclosure of certain types of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the immediately preceding calendar year.

Retention

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as necessary to provide our Services, and as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies. Retention periods will be determined taking into account the type of information that is collected

Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit sites, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use and the Google Privacy Policy .


We do not currently use cookies and similar tracking technologies to conduct cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. Thus, we do not “sell” or “share” your Personal Information (as these terms are defined under the CCPA or other applicable US state privacy laws).


Third party collection of information

Our policy only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. To the extent you disclose your information to other parties or sites throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. The Company’s servers are located in the United States, and we provide our Services in the United States. Out of respect to your right to privacy we provide you within such marketing materials with means to decline receiving further marketing offers from us. If you unsubscribe we will remove your email address or telephone number from our marketing distribution lists.


Please note that even if you have unsubscribed from receiving marketing emails from us, we may send you other types of important e-mail communications without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them. These may include customer service announcements or administrative notices.


Minors

We understand the importance of protecting children’s privacy, especially in an online environment. The Site is not designed for or directed at children.
